What a great Friday evening we just had. Eric Bowman called and said a friend of his had called and wanted to bring over some friends of his to jam. We said sure. We are always glad to get to play music. The 2 musicians who showed up turned out to be some of the best (if not the best) that we have ever played music with. Let us just mention here that both of them were blind. That certainly did not affect their musical abilities. Johnny played keyboard and sang and Doug played guitar and harmonica. Eric played banjo and another friend, Joe, also played harmonica and guitar. Eddie played drums and Tracy bass. We had a house full of people just watching. Wish we could describe how good these guys were. We kept up as best we could. We hope to get to see them and jam some more sometime. It was also great to see Joe. He is also a great musician and good friend who we hadn't seen in quiet awhile. Playing music is an extremely satisfying and rewarding hobby.
