It saddens us to see all of the violence in the world today. The government of France must get the riots under control. A lot of innocent people are loosing their cars and homes and are being terrorized when they haven't done anything to deserve it. They just happen to be living in the cities where the violence is taking place. There are much better ways for people who are unhappy, to improve their lives, than by destroying other lives. The best way for a person to help themselves is by education, or learning a valuable skill. Sure, there is prejudice and bigotry everywhere, but if you learn to do something that is valuable to other people, then someone is going to pay you for it. When we first got together, we didn't have much money, or education, but we looked around and found something that somebody was willing to pay us, well, for doing; truck driving. We didn't know much about it, but we went to school, got our license and hit the road. It hasn't been easy. There were many different things that we had to learn, and being from the southern Appalachians we found there was quite a bit of bigotry and prejudice against us because of our "hillbilly" accent, but it sure beat sitting around without any money, expecting the government, or someone else to supply it.

     We now own a home, a new vehicle and an older one, and we are debt free, and very happy with the life we have made ourselves. Maybe we are wrong here, but it just seems like, if we can do it, then most anybody can. One thing we do know, trying to help yourself by destroying others, is the wrong way to go.
